Kathiri

You start wondering if there is something wrong with the summer in Madras, when the breeze at 4.00AM in the morning has a slight nip to it, and sleeping in the terrace of one's house becomes that tad bit difficult.
A nice jog at 5.00AM feels much better than what it used to the previous week.

I love this city !

Irritation

is when you carefully arrange the pieces of plastic and metal (read 100cc and 150cc bikes) in a motorcycle parking lot to park your Royal Enfield, and a guy comes around, jumps on the bike next to yours and drives away. It makes you gnash your teeth at him for not having parked it in a compact manner in the first place.

is when you take out your SLR in a hurry to capture that nice butterfly with an amazing DOF, get your settings ready, and the butterfly decides to fly away.

Beginning

A great beginning to a day is overcast skies, with a mild wind. You then run 8kms and swim for another km.

_That_ is the perfect way to begin you day.

Virtual Machines

It is better to have a linux host and Windows virtual machine, than to have a windows host and a linux virtual machine. I am talking in terms of responsiveness of both the host and guest.

Kelamal

After a long time Rahman uses his violins nicely in this song. Surprisingly enough, this was not all that a big hit !

Surya, Shah Rukh Khan & Six Pack

I do not understand all the fuss behind Surya's (and previously Shah Rukh Khan's) six pack. Then again, in a world where hitting the gym to maintain oneself fit is still regarded as waste-of-time, it would definitely seem out of place.

Grow up guys. Please stop those forwards and hit the gym to get one for yourself.
