Racisim in Cricket
Sample This. Ponting protests the umpire's decision voiciferously. Inzamam walks out of the field when his team is accused of ball tampering. Ponting gets defended saying he was just playing to win with his team's intrests in mind. Inzamam gets hauled to court for disciplinary hearing. For too long has the ICC sided with England and Australia and hauled Indians and Paki's to court. I guess India and Pakistan should stop playing cricket for one season to protest against this. ICC should be let known that everyone is equal. Will BCCI take some action now ?

Oh pleez, not the racist card again.
What Inzi did was plain stupid and needed censure. He had no business to stay away and keep the batsmen and crowd waiting after tea. If this is defiance, then he should cop the consequences on the chin.
Here's the big Daddy of reverse swing on Ball tampering:
Giving an old ball to a Pak bowler is like offering a baby-sitting job to a paedophile. No big deal in pulling up players for chucking/tampering - its no different from an LBW - the umpire feels he has grounds to make that call and he does exactly that without fear or favour.
Asian teams lack professionalism - they let all the javelin throwers and coconut-pelters scotfree till they reach international grade - something you wont see in Eng or Aus. And in the end they whine about racism and try to get away.
Let's start winning games abroad, cribs can wait :)

Thx.
machi shyam,
that's generally because 'korrupsan' is second nature to them, even in cricket :)
I have to disagree. What about South Africans ? We cannot label the asian teams to be "korrupt" !!
If you read Michael Holding's column in India Today, he would have given some good reasons as to why both English and Australian teams get away with it. I am unable to get an online version of the article.
Is Darryl Hair or "racist" ICC to blame for Akhtar/Asif taking drugs?
PCB smartly tests them and calls them back - if ICC had tested them at the Champions Trophy, it would have been a bigger slap-in-the-face for the cheats.
