Goodbye Suse 10.1 ?

After having faced a lot of issues (acpi) with my laptop, i think i may have to either switch to debian (Ubuntu or Kubuntu) or replace my laptop. Since i am facing a financial crunch, i think i am better off in trying out Kubuntu. Oh the choice of kubuntu is simply because i hate gnome ;-) and hence i hate ubuntu !!
Shall post up the results of my experiments shortly.
