Quota
From the recent supreme court judgment on quotas for OBC's :
"Nowhere else in the world do castes classes or communities queue up for the sake of gaining backward status. Nowhere else in the world is there competition to assert backwardness and then to claim that we are more backward than you."
Justice will always prevail.

It's funny, eh!
Indian seems to be the only place where segregation (reservations) is used as a reason to desegregate (break brahmanical hegemony). It's as if the non-Fwd castes want to keep themselves segregated to gain political advantages, when actually they do not realise that they are distancing themselves from the society at large.
I am surprised ur talking abt all these national issues when abt a week back u were backing tamil seperatism and supporting MK.
akshan: Yes indeed, a very valid observation.
hpc-gang: That is a difference between fan and fanatic. My support for any issue has always been based on cold logic and not empty rhetoric. Why, even now, I support reservation. But, exclude the creamy layer and extend it to all communities.
